Accessibility

What we’ve done

• Keyboard: everything works without a mouse. Use Tab to move, Enter or Space to open things, Esc to close popups, and the arrow keys in event and photo viewers. A “Skip to content” link is the first thing you’ll reach.
• Screen readers: pages use proper headings, labeled buttons and form fields, and descriptive text for images. Popups announce themselves and return you to where you were when closed.
• Motion: if your device is set to reduce motion (in your phone or computer’s accessibility settings), the animated speaker, slideshows and scrolling effects stay still.
• Sound: nothing plays until you choose to turn sound on.
• Color and text: text meets WCAG contrast levels against our dark background, and the site still works when you zoom to 200% or enlarge text.
• No time limits: forms don’t time out, and nothing needs to be done quickly.

Known limits

• Some event flyers are images with text on them. The key details (date, venue, lineup and times) are always written out on the page too.
• Mixes and tunes are audio only and don’t have transcripts.
• Tickets are sold through outside ticketing platforms and some tracks play through SoundCloud. We can’t control how accessible those services are, but we’ll help you directly if they cause you trouble.

At our shows

If you need an accommodation to attend, such as accessible entry, seating, a companion, or information about the venue, email us before the show and we’ll work with the venue to help.

Contact us

If you have trouble with any part of this site, tell us which page and what happened, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
